What happens after you install

DataRecover Pro reads drives at the block level, so macOS asks you to approve two things on first launch. Both are one-time and need no restart.

  1. 01Allow the background helper

    System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → turn on DataRecover Pro under “Allow in the Background”.

  2. 02Grant Full Disk Access

    System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access → enable DataRecover Pro. The in-app banner clears within seconds.
