Terms of Service
Last updated Jun 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the DataRecover Pro software and website provided by GoodDev LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use DataRecover Pro on the number of devices included in your plan (currently 3), subject to these Terms. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or circumvent the licensing of the software.
Free to scan & preview
Scanning and preview are free and unlimited, and require no account — you can see exactly which files are recoverable before paying. Recovering or repairing files requires a paid license.
Plans, billing & renewal
Paid plans unlock unlimited recovery and file repair.
- The Annual plan is a subscription that automatically renews each year until cancelled.
- The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase for use of the then-current major version line, including updates as described at purchase.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account's billing portal. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. See our Refund Policy for money-back terms.
Acceptable use
You agree to use DataRecover Pro only on drives and data you own or are authorized to access, and in compliance with applicable law. You are responsible for how you use recovered data.
No guarantee of recovery
Data recovery depends on the condition of your drive and data. Some data is partially or fully unrecoverable — for example, after it has been overwritten or where there is physical drive failure. We do not and cannot guarantee that any particular file will be recovered or repaired. DataRecover Pro is not a substitute for backups.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the software or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: support@datarecoverpro.com.
